The 46th World Othello Championship starts today!! The 2024 WOC welcome reception takes place today in Hangzhou, China. The actual competition will start tomorrow and the semi-finals and finals will be held on Sunday October 27th. Check out the WATCH US LIVE page to find livestreams with commentary in different languages. |

The Fantasy Othello competition for WOC2024 is now open! Create your Fantasy team and try to finish in the top 10 and win the official WOC2024 T-Shirt. Team registrations close on October 24th (just before WOC2024 Day 1). |

On June 22, the 2024 "Broadway Cup" China open was successfully concluded at Hangzhou Branch of the China Chess Academy! (The Mind Building. This game brought together 42 top players from 12 provinces across the country. After 9 rounds and 8 hours of fierce competition, Song Yan, a former WOC finalist from Jilin, went undefeated and won the championship with 9 wins! Shi Peipei from Hefei, Anhui was the runner-up, and Shanghai player Du Zhouzi won the third place, Shanghai player Wang Yu won the palace army, Shanghai player Cui Yijun won the women's group champion, and Hunan player Zeng Anna (8 years old) won the youth group champion. In addition, as the selection for the 46th World Championships, the above-winning contestants will form the Chinese team to participate in the "46th World Othello Championship" held in Hangzhou Mind Building from 10.24 to 10.27 this year. Let's cheer for the players! |
